In the middle of the night on April 29th, a fire ignited on the back porch of Michele Strauss’s home. Her son woke up to what sounded like rocks being thrown at his window, luckily the noise woke him up in time to escape in time before his window exploded. Everything they owned, except for important papers that were stored in a trunk, were destroyed. Roomful Express and the 50 Years, 50 Families program will provide Michele and her family with new bedroom, living room, and dining room furniture.
Carol Maholic and her husband raised 10 children in their 2 ½ bedroom home. All of the furniture they have ever owned, including their bed, is a hand-me-down. Recently, their living room ceiling collapsed, ruining all of their living room furniture. Roomful Express and the 50 Years, 50 Families program will provide Carol and her husband with new bedroom, living room, and dining room furniture.
