Althera Evans is a single mother of three children, trying to make ends meet. Althera is hearing impaired and works at a Children’s Day Care Center. Although she is hearing impaired, that doesn’t stop her from reaching her goals- she is trying to get into school to be a massage therapist. The Wayne Barton Study Center nominated the family and they were selected as one of the recipients for El Dorado Furniture’s 50 Years/50 Families Community Relations Campaign!
