Mayrenis Mejia and her two sons (6 and 14-years old) live in a very tiny one bedroom apartment. The Mejia family has faced several hardships including homelessness. With much faith from Mayrenis, a social worker got them a place and a job. The mother is an extremely hardworking and very gracious lady and her kids are very well behaved children. This family was in need of new furniture essentials for their home as they did not have living room or dining room furniture. Leadership Learning Center and El Dorado Furniture selected the Mejia family as one of the recipients for the 50 Years/50 Families Community Relations Campaign!
